Chapter Meeting January 15,2009  Started at 7:02pm 

Members Present: Luke Spratt Troop 197, Brendon Morgan Troop 105, Chris Swindler Troop 105,Jake Fagan Troop 13, James Troop 125, Mr. Morgan Troop 105, Mr. Schwarz Troop 199    

 Chapter Patch design: Talked about making a new chapter patch even though we have old ones. James's dad suggested a competition. Decieded on making many designs and deciding on one.  

Website Info: Luke Spratt talked about how our website is up and running.  

Fill Chapter Positions: Luke Spratt explained the positions and we took the members and decided on who would be what. We have decided on the following:               Vice Chapter Chief of Program: James Troop 125             Vice Chapter Chief of Service: Still open             Chapter Secretary: Jake Fagan Troop 13             Chapter Treasurer: Chris Swindler Troop 105  

Possible Chapter events: Want to start in March or April, Chief of program in charge of research  

Spring Pow Wow: Explained what will be going on that weekend got a show of hands. About half plan to go.  

Chapter Shirts: Wanted to design new ones. Mr Morgan informed us Mrs. Flack has the shirts. Need to find out how many we have left.  

 OA Elections: Explained that Troop 122,125,141,143,160 and 199 still do not have dates set up. Told James to talk to his Scoutmaster about a date. Frank Schwarz gave me the date of February 23. Luke Spratt's Troop 197 has set up for the date of February 10.  

 Fundraisers: Chapter has no money to its name. Fundraisers should be done. Ideas given:       Jake said his troop did a troop wide yard sale made about 300 dollars.       Mr. Morgan's troop sold hotdogs and Hamburgers outside Gander Mountain. Made a couple thousand in approx. 4 hours. Contact Mr. Flack to set up.  

New email service: The new lodge email service is up and running as of January 5. Luke was not informed. Luke will contact Mr. Brad Ellis to get more information.  

Name tags: Brought up at last meeting, it was also brought up this meeting. 5 dollars needed up front and given to Brad Ellis if wanted.
