Important NOAC 2009 Announcement

Time is running out to be able to attend the next best thing to a National Jamboree: NOAC 2009!

What is NOAC?  NOAC is the NATIONAL ORDER OF THE ARROW CONFERENCE.  It usually happens every 2 years, but due to ArrowCorps5 in 2008, NOAC last occurred in 2006 at Michigan State University.  There are also rumors that NOAC will not occur again until 2012.

When is NOAC 2009?  August 1st-6th, 2009.  It looks like we will be leaving TK on July 30th, and returning back on August 8th.  These dates are not locked in stone yet until we get travel locked down.  Aal-Pa-Tah will travel as a contingent.

Where is NOAC 2009?  At Indiana University (home of the Hoosiers) in Bloomington, Indiana.  This will be the tenth time that IU has hosted us on its beautiful campus (The first time was in 1948.)  We will live in the dorms and eat in the cafeterias.

Who attends NOAC 2009?  There will be between 7000 and 9000 Arrowmen in attendance along with an amazing staff made up of Arrowmen from across the nation.  There will also be Arrowmen from other countries in attendance.

What does NOAC 2009 offer once I’m there?  There will be seminars you can attend, demonstrations, games, Indian dancing, patch trading, Fellowship, outstanding shows each night of the week, and overall a great bunch of fun.

What will NOAC 2009 cost me?  $895.00 broken down in payments of $100 due by the 15th of February, the next $295 due by the 15th of May and the remaining $500, due by the 1st of July. You can pay the full balance earlier if you want.  Do not wait until 15th of February to pay because National limits our spots based on the down payments.  The total $895.00 includes your NOAC registration, dormitory, food, travel, and whatever contingent goodies Aal-Pa-Tah decides to outfit the contingent with.

Call Kelsey at Council at 561.694.8585 before February 15th and reserve your slot.
